We don't recommend investing for under a year, you'd be better off leaving your savings in a high-interest savings account. For a short timeframe of a year or under, you'd need to have a very conservative portfolio to ensure capital preservation (which means trying to protect your investments from ever decreasing in value, even over a very short timeframe).  Even with a conservative portfolio, you may experience some market volatility.

Our investment approach is to sustainably grow wealth over the long term. If you're interested in our investment approach, have a read of this: https://www.clover.com.au/blog/active-versus-index-investing/
